Happy Belated Labor Day!

Happy Belated Labor Day!!

Here is a look back on our Labor Day Weekend:

Friday night we celebrated our friends, Chris & Natalie, before they moved to Dallas on Saturday. We are so sad to see them go, but can't wait to visit them soon and check out all the cool places they've found.

Saturday and Sunday Mike and I pigged out because yesterday we started the Whole30 plan. On Saturday we had delicious Vietnamese food with his mom and step dad after seeing where their new house is going to be. Sunday morning was church and a coffee date at Local Coffee where we ate seriously dangerous muffins and carmel lattes. Sunday night was pizza night. Oh, Hawaiian pizza I will miss you!

{I will finish you Gone Girl}

Monday started out with measurements and before photos. Can't wait to see the before and afters. It is 30 days of cutting out dairy, grains, sugars of every kind, alcohol, white potatoes and legumes. This will help us reboot and rid our body of processed foods & knock out gluten.

So far it has been really fun planning, shopping and preparing. Trader Joe's was my happy place on Saturday. They had almost everything I needed at such an affordable price.

Yesterday I made my own mayonnaise (chicken salad), avocado dressing (salads) and BBQ sauce (everything). They are delicious and I know exactly what is in them!

Tonight we made a meat loaf from The Paleo Kitchen. It was extremely easy and delicious. We topped it off with the homemade BBQ sauce and poof dinner was served.

In honor of Maroon V's album dropping today, here is one of our favorite songs released:
